Description

You send us your good core, and we will rebuild and upgrade your CT26 turbo for your 7m-gte, Celica All Trac, Toyota MR2, or even for a Toyota diesel truck! This item does NOT include the core, you must send us your rebuildable turbo.

We include everything in our CT26 rebuild kit, with a 360deg cnc'd thrust washer, new radial bearings, etc... We carefully inspect all the clearances and tolerances, the housings get bead blasted to look like new. Then the center section is carefully assembled, and it is put in the VSR balancing machine. It is given an oil supply, and high pressure air is used to spin the turbo to over 100,000rpm. This is the best way to balance a turbo, because it is balanced after it has been fully assembled, and doesn't need to come apart again after balancing. It is also checked for oil leakage during that process. The VSR machine and accessories are quite expensive, so not all turbo rebuilders can offer VSR balancing.

Choose from a billet 48mm (50 Trim), or billet 57 trim compressor wheel for 7M CT26. The 48mm billet wheel also works great for diesel CT26 turbos. We do not recommend bigger than 57 trim billet, due to shortened lifespan with that large of a huge compressor wheel on the short CT26 turbine shaft. For the diesel turbos, we usually recommend one step larger than stock, so it will make more useable power, and not sacrifice spool time and torque.

Our billet compressor wheels are lighter than cast, and they have a more aggressive blade profile, with deeper pockets between the blades to move more air, and extended tips. It real-world situations, the billet compressor wheels typically make power like one size larger cast wheel, and spool up like one size smaller cast compressor wheel.

To send us your turbo for a rebuild: Please buy this item on our website, and put a copy of the invoice in the box with your turbo. Package the turbo very well, use plenty of packing material (bubble wrap alone is not a good idea) Please remove the oil and coolant pipes from the turbo, we don't need those. Do not remove the wastegate actuator, we need to test it to make sure it operates correctly. If there is extreme damage to the turbo that is not repairable, the cost may be higher, but we will contact you upon disassembling the turbo and let you know if any of the major parts are unusable. Send the turbo to: Driftmotion, 8975 Vernon Ave, Unit D, Montclair, CA 91763

*If your exhaust housing has cracks in it, it's $100 for a new one.
*If your exhaust wheel is damaged/unusable, it's $100 for a new one.
*If your bearing housing is damaged and needs to be bored for oversize radial bearings, there is a $50 fee.
*If your wastegate actuator is damaged, or you just want a new one, we make our own with similar boost rating to stock and its $69.00 to add that to the turbo.

5 of 5 Amazing Turbo! April 3, 2020
Reviewer: Michael O from Redding, CA United States
I had my ct26 for my mk3 rebuilt with a 57 trim and driftmotion did an amazing job, the quality is great and the car feels so much better with a freshly rebuilt turbo. The staff at driftmotion are amazing and helped me with every question I had. I would highly recommend someone using driftmotion to get their turbo rebuilt!
