Driftmotion 2JZ Billet Timing Belt Idler.
Our new 2JZ billet timing belt idler comes fully assembled with the pulley! These are far superior to a stock idler, made in the USA with 6061 billet aluminum. We use OE quality Koyo japanese bearings, with low friction coated brass bushings, and a hardened steel pin. We didn't just copy a stock idler bracket, it is designed to be thicker and stronger all around. You can select if you want to add a new Factory Toyota idler bolt and washer.

This idler is for 2JZ. It will work on 2JZ VVTi and 2JZ non-VVTi engines, turbo and non-turbo models.
This idler will also work on 1.5JZ engines (using a 2JZ block with a 1JZ head).

Remember a stock Toyota washer is required between the idler bracket and the mounting location on the oil pump, and the washer is directional! Without that washer the billet pulley bracket will get damaged and the bolt will come loose! The new bolt comes with factory Loctite applied. If your idler bolt is not brand new you need to apply Loctite to the threads. The idler bolt to oil pump torque is 25 ft/lbs, please torque it accurately with a 3/8" drive torque wrench.
