Driftmotion Custom 2/0 Battery Cable.
We have been making battery cables for cars in-shop for many years. We use a fine stranded flexible cable that is made in the USA, and it is abrasion, tear, flame, grease, oil, water, ozone, sun, weather, and chemical resistant. We use the best quality T&B ring terminals, the heavy duty real copper ones, not the "gold plated" tin car stereo stuff. We apply a heavy duty shrink wrap with adhesive liner on both ends. We crimp the ends with a heavy duty professional crimper. We can also add a high quality automotive grade high temp split wrap to the cable.

We now have an option for battery post terminals, or a boot for an alternator post on the cable ends! We can install a high quality battery terminal, for a negative or positive battery post, with a red or black protective boot included.

A battery relocation is tough on the electrical system in a vehicle, but it can still work well if properly wired. The sheet metal unibody of import cars is a relatively poor electrical conductor. Often adding a 2/0 ground from the battery to the alternator case or the block can increase the battery charging voltage from .3v to as much as 1v or more. We recommend running 2/0 power and ground cables from the rear of the vehicle all the way to the front. The starter is a poor choice for power distribution. We recommend using a heavy duty 3/8" distribution post in the front of the vehicle, with cables tying in at that point from to battery positive, alternator, starter, and factory fuse box. For the ground cables you can run them to a 10mm threaded hole on the engine block with the paint cleaned off.
Always use a heavy duty 250amp or 300amp fuse within a foot from the battery for a battery relocation.
